Contact Deb Bastian at dtbastian@yahoo.com The Fabulous 1890s Weekend welcomes food vendors and quality crafters and artisans to display and sell their goods on both Friday and Saturday, September 28-29. Reservations are required so we encourage you to apply early. Booth sizes and prices vary. We do have limited spaces in our two vendor tents. Contact Deb Bastian at dtbastian@yahoo.com for information. To maintain the 1890s atmosphere, we encourage vendors to dress in period clothes. This can be as simple as a period hat, a high-necked blouse and shawl for women or suspenders, vest and top hat or derby for men. Your cooperation is appreciated and helps make the weekend fun for everyone. We have a full schedule of 1890s events Friday night and Saturday, beginning Friday night with soccer games and a square dance. The activities continue into Saturday with entertainment, food and demonstrations throughout Smythe Park. Mansfield University Parent & Family Day is also September 29. Food Vendors: Ready for business by 4 p.m., Friday Sept. 28. Set up times: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Friday. All food items that you intend to sell must be listed on the application. We try to not get too many vendors per type of food, but we do not guarantee exclusivity. Vendors are responsible for having their food permits and for using all federally approved equipment. If you do not have a PA food permit you will need to call 570-433-2640 and ask for the inspector for Tioga County about a month before the festival and make an appt. on Friday the 26rd to inspect and issue a permit. Temporary permits are $10 and $60 per year. Water will be available until 4 p.m. on Friday night. If you need continuous water you will need to bring your own source. We do not have oil disposal at our festival so please make plans to take your used oil with you. We will have a dumpster available for regular garbage. Our electric is at a premium on Smythe Park. We are allotting (1) 30 amp breaker per vendor. If you need more electric than this please make a note on your application. We will do our best to accommodate requests. Have your insurance company send us a certificate of insurance. Parking is limited to spaces along the road, one per booth. Additional vehicles must be parked on the south end of the park by the Little League Complex. Please fill out the appropriate application form below.
